One of the main reasons I decided to take Latin is because I am a Mass Communications, Magazine Writing major. I have heard from many different sources that Latin can help with vocabulary, which will be extremely helpful.

Also I like Becky read the Harry Potter series which uses Latin in the spells. As well I have heard all the sayings like "carpe diem". Being curious I looked them up. Latin just interests me.
